Intaglio à Go-Go: Etching Moves Forward

Intaglio is a family of printmaking processes (etching, engraving, dry point, aquatint, mezzotint) used by artists since the 15th century. These processes are still taught in art schools and faithfully used by artists for the richness of the image produced and the ability to combine processes. This exhibition features a number of Philadelphia area printmakers working in intaglio, as well as some twentieth century Philadelphia printmakers from the collection of the Print and Picture Collection

For additional information on the Exhibition and Reception contact the Print and Picture Collection between the hours of 9-5, Monday through Friday, at 215-686-5405 or the Art Department during evening and Saturday hours at 215-686-5403.
